Outback Golf Bar   2016-12-16   Nikanti - Kanchanaburi
Day five on our tour and an early start checking out and leaving at 7am
for our fourth round of the tour at the interesting Nikanti course.
Nikanti breaks the usual tradition of golf in
Thailand in a few very interesting ways, and their
innovation and courage to break the norm is applauded
and fits in to our philosophy of the Outback to do things
differently and more exciting for our customers.

Back to golf and because the course played very short from the white tee's (only 5,750 yards), we decided to let everyone play from the blue tee's (6,200 yards),
but give each individual the option to move back to t
he white tee for an approximate 3 shot handicap loss.
The guys in the top 10 all decided to stay with blue tee's
and not loose those handicap shots and the same names
who were in the lead before kept coming up
in the results again. Hans-Georg Bufe finished 3rd in
the B division with 35 points, Alan Ashton lost on count
back for 2nd place with 38 points, and Jon Kittilsensneaked
into the first place with an excellent win also on 38 points.
In the A division, Murray Hart's name came up for the 4th time
in the week with his 3rd place 34 points, David Lloyd returned to
form with a good 36 points in 2nd place, and Dennis Scougall
won first place with an amazing 42 points. With 6 par 3's,
one would have expected a few names for two's, but with
the par 3's all being long off the blue's (one measuring 243yrds to the pin),
it wasn't easy to get a two and Dennis Scougall was the only person to achieve that.

The Billabong Golf Club   2016-12-16   Emerald
Great day at Emerald, sky was blue and a nice breeze. Hit off right on time. Field moved well all day long. Course in good condition. A flight won by Johnno with 38 points, B flight won by Robbie with amazing 41 points.

Currently have nearly all bars/groups who are members of the PSC (Pattaya Sports Club)
and the other governing body the IPGC (International Pattaya Golf Club).
There are a number of Societies not affiliated with either.
